Join artist Christine Destrempes at the DubHub at 7pm for a reading from her memoir, Unconditioned, about overcoming the shame of emotional and sexual abuse which, according to the author Paul Hertneky, is “an irresistible account—a full-throated, vaulting reflection and remembrance of vivid, heartbreaking, chilling scenes, and sneak-attack humor. Christine is a visual artist who for many years raised awareness of environmental and social issues by engaging the public in the creation of monumental art installations. She lives in Harrisville with her husband, Noel and their two dogs. Free and open to all.
