Earth Day Roadside Cleanup and Lunch, Saturday, April 18

We will celebrate Earth Day a little early by joining together to beautify our town. Dublin's fourth annual Roadside Cleanup Day is on Saturday, April 18, from 9 am – noon, with lunch provided by the DubHub afterward. We hope many Dublin families will participate.

Additionally, all Dublin’s elementary school children (Grades K–5) are invited to make a poster or other design (2-dimensional, please) on the theme of Earth Day and/or Dublin Roadside Cleanup Day. These will be collected from the schools on Friday, April 17, and displayed at the Dublin Community Center. Homeschool families are welcome to join, too. Drop off your children’s posters at Dublin Consolidated School or at the Dublin Community Center on April 17 before 3 pm.

On Saturday, families can come to the Community Center starting at 9 am to pick up trash bags and sign up for one of the town roads. Everyone will disperse to clean roadsides and gather back at the Community Center at noon for hot dogs – and prizes for posters and “interesting” trash. Sound like fun?
