On Saturday January 17 from 10AM-noon at the DubHub, the Dublin Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee will host an information session about recycling rigid styrofoam. We will have a presentation by Meghan Theriault, who runs styrofoam recycling in Gilford NH, the only site in the state that has the equipment necessary. Meghan is a wonderful speaker and advocate for the recycling and waste reduction cause, and she is travelling from Gilford just for us! Refreshments will be served.

We hope you will all come to this event, because it will be followed by a styrofoam collection day at the Dublin Transfer Station on Saturday January 31, 8-5. The presentation at the Hub on the 17th will answer all your questions about styrofoam, and help us to learn ways to reduce our dependence on single use plastic. Save all your styrofoam from the holidays and get rid of it in a sustainable way on January 31st.
